Sewing Fashionable Clothes For Family

I don’t know about you, but I am guilty of stopping in the middle of whatever I’m working on and sewing fashionable clothes for family.  Most times, I volunteer to do it and love it.  Other times, I look over at the stash of fabrics and patterns I’ve collected longing to complete just one more item before the season changes.  Here are some of the clothes I’ve sewn over the past months for family.

Quick and easy pants for my daughter using Simplicity Pattern 7229 in a cotton and spandex blend from Joann’s.

When the weather changed, she wanted a casual red cape, using a New Look pattern.

Sewing fashionable clothes for family is not difficult at all; in fact, it’s very easy.  Just drop whatever you are in the middle of (because we’re always in the middle of something) and show some sewing love to your family.
